STC has retained the services of an independent safety consultant, Mr. Larry Posey, to make sure that all safety issues are addressed and all safety training is complete.  The following issues are covered:

• General Health and Safety Rules

• Personal Protective Equipment

• Respiratory Protection & Respirator Fit Testing

• Fall Protection

• Confined Space Entry

• Scaffolding Safety & Erection

• Hazard Communication

• Lock-out / Tag-out

• Welding / Cutting Safety

• Lead Abatement, if necessary

• First Aid (2 workers per crew)

• CPR (2 workers per crew)

• Bloodborne Pathogens

• General Injury Liability

• Substance Abuse Policies

• Fire Extinguisher Training

• OSHA 10 hour course, if necessary

• Hearing Conservation Program

All supervisors must comply with STC’s safety requirements for Tool-box Talks, permitting Hot Work and Confined Space and documenting daily progress.

Our crews follow SUPERIOR TANK CO., INC. Confined Space Entry and Safety Program that meets or exceeds OSHA requirements.

All of our crews carry documentation of their training.  We can also provide a copy of our safety and/or confined space entry manuals upon request.

STC requires adherence to strict safety procedures.
